Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Stabbing at 3215 Boynton Drive
November 3, 2020 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a man at 3215 Boynton Drive about 9:45 p.m. on September 30.
The suspect, Daniel Wayne Wilson (b/m, 28), is charged with murder in the 179th State District Court. A booking photo of Wilson is attached to this news release.
The victim, Christian Abram Ross, 24, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
HPD Homicide Division Detective M. Barrow reported:
Witnesses reported seeing an unknown black male stabbing Mr. Ross multiple times in a church parking lot. The assault then continued into the roadway of West Orem Drive before Ross fled to a nearby neighborhood. The suspect chased Ross, eventually catching him in the backyard of a residence at the above address, where he then used a metal baseball bat to continue the assault.
Further investigation led to the identification of Wilson as the suspect in this incident and, on October 21, he was arrested for his role in Ross' death.
