Investigation into Fatal Crash at 14200 Westheimer Road
March 9, 2020 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 14200 Westheimer Road about 6:30 a.m. today (March 10).
The female victim, 60, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant K. Harris and Officer D. Kizzee reported:
The victim, a pedestrian, was crossing Westheimer southbound at the Briargreen intersection when she was struck by a black Jeep. The female driver, who witnesses reported had the green light, remained at the scene and exhibited no signs of impairment.
Currently, there are no charges filed pending further investigation.
