Investigation into Assault at 1900 Ruiz Street
June 29, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the assault of a woman at 1900 Ruiz Street about 2:20 p.m. last Friday (June 26).
The victim, 41, was transported to an area hospital with severe head trauma.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer Z. Brumley reported:
The victim was assaulted by at least two known female suspects in the street. Witnesses saw the victim injured and unconscious in the street. They called 911 and paramedics transported the woman to the hospital.
Investigators learned the identity of at least two suspects and are following up on leads at this time.
