Investigation into Shooting at 12619 Ashford Meadow Drive
June 12, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a woman that occurred at 12619 Ashford Meadow Drive about 4:40 p.m. on Thursday (June 11).
The victim, Lashime Brown, 44, was transported to an area hospital in critical but stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer L. Thornton reported:
Ms. Brown was walking in an apartment complex at the above address when she was approached by an unknown black male suspect wearing a ski mask. When Brown asked the suspect why he was wearing the mask, he pulled a handgun and shot her multiple times before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported Brown to the hospital.
