July 16, 2020 - Houston police have learned a woman seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash at 3700 Liberty Road about 9:55 p.m. on July 9 has died.

The identity of the victim, 61, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Pham and Officer F. Flynn reported:

The victim, a pedestrian, was crossing the street at the above address when she was struck by two unknown vehicles, possibly a Chevrolet Camaro and a Chevrolet Suburban.  The drivers fled the scene without rendering aid to the woman. 

Paramedics transported the victim to an area hospital where doctors pronounced her deceased on Wednesday (July 15).
