July 13, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a woman at 6400 East Houston Road about 7:35 p.m. last Friday (July 10).

The victim, 46, was taken by private vehicle to an area hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening wounds.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives M. Combs and J. Kimbrough reported:

Two males were arguing at a gas station at Homestead Road and Weaver Road.  After one of them drove away, the other male chased him and fired multiple gunshots at his vehicle, striking the woman who was also in the vehicle.  The male then drove the woman in his vehicle to the hospital.

The suspect, described only as a black male, then fled in a white truck.
