July 13, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman at 322 San Julio Drive about 9 a.m. last Friday (July 10).

The victim, 57, was pronounced dead at the scene.  Her identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives B. Rothberg and A. Barr reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to an alarm at a residence  at the above address and were unable to reach anyone inside.  The officers contacted the home owner's daughter, who then met them at the home.  After she unlocked the door, officers conducted a welfare check and found the woman deceased inside.  She had sustained a gunshot wound.  

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
