Investigation into Shooting at 2150 Bentworth
January 27, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of two persons that occurred at 2150 Bentworth Drive about 5:50 p.m. on Saturday (January 26).
The victims were transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer J. Kimbrough reported:
The victims were driving on South Kirkwood Road when they noticed a vehicle following them. The victims turned on Waldemar Drive and then turned again onto Bentworth Drive. The suspect vehicle then sped past them, cut them off, and before stopping in front of their vehicle. The victims stopped their vehicle in order to avoid an accident. The suspects then rolled down their front passenger window and fired multiple shots, striking both victims, before fleeing the scene. Both victims were subsequently transported to the hospital where they were treated for their wounds.
The suspects are described only as unknown black males.
