Investigation into Shooting at 3225 Woodland Park Drive
January 6, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a woman at 3225 Woodland Park Drive about 12:40 p.m. on Sunday (January 5).
The victim, Chrishana Dotson, 27, of the above address, was transported to an area hospital and is expected to survive her wounds.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers D. Garner and A. Johnson reported:
Ms. Dotson was in her apartment at the above address when she was targeted for a home invasion by unknown suspects. There was a struggle between Dotson and the suspects during which she was shot. The suspects fled the scene before police arrived. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported Dotson to the hospital.
