Investigation into Shooting at 3900 Record Street
February 3, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 3900 Record Street about 6 p.m. on Sunday (Feb. 2).
The victim, Clayvon Dayntay Gordwin, Jr., 21, was transported to Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer A. Le reported:
Officers responded to a shooting call at the above address but could not locate a victim. Witnesses stated they heard an argument prior to the sound of gunfire.
The officers later were called to an area hospital pertaining to a gunshot victim (Mr. Gordwin) being treated. It was determined Gordwin was shot at the original address and a friend transported him to the hospital. Gordwin told officers the suspect was unknown.
