December 31, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the death of a woman found at 9000 Bissonnet Street about 1:30 a.m. today.

The identity of the victim, 42, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants K. Daignault and C. Duncan reported:

Officers responded to a call of a person lying in the street at the above address and found the victim unresponsive, partially in the roadway.  Paramedics pronounced the victim deceased.  She had suffered blunt force trauma to the head.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.  At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspect(s) in the incident.
