December 22, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male at 7600 Liberty Road about 7:50 p.m. on Monday (December 21).  

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Smith and Detective E. Martinez reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a crash at the above address.  Officers and HFD paramedics arrived on scene and found the victim unresponsive and about 50 yards from his vehicle, which was stuck in a ditch.  

Paramedics determined the victim had been shot several times and attempted medical assistance before pronouncing him deceased.  

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
