December 18, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 8300 Park Place Boulevard about 5:50 a.m. today.  

The male victim, 45, was transported to an area hospital and is expected to survive his injuries.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives A. Carroll and J. De La Torre reported: 

An older model white sedan of unknown make and model stopped in the middle of the street near the above address and three males exited the vehicle.  Two of the males began to argue and one of the males produced a pistol and shot the other, striking him twice in the torso.  The shooter and third male then got back into the vehicle and fled the scene.  Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to the hospital.
