December 9, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 6600 West Bellfort Avenue that occurred about 11:20 a.m. on Tuesday (December 8).

The victim, Rodney Rogers, 46, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives A. Johnson and D. Garner reported:

Officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found Mr. Rogers had been shot in the abdomen after he had an altercation with the suspect.  Paramedics transported Rogers to the hospital. 

The suspect, described only as an unknown black male, fled in a silver Nissan Altima.
