December 7, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man that occurred at 8934 Cullen Boulevard about 10:50 p.m. on Saturday (December 5).

The victim, Louis Duffield, 31, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer J. Roberts and A. Ferrell reported:

Officers responded to a reported shooting at 5900 Belarbor Street.  Upon arrival, they found Mr. Duffield in his vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  Duffield stated he was parked in a convenience store lot at 8934 Cullen Boulevard when the armed suspect approached the front of his vehicle and fired several times.  Duffield was struck multiple times but managed to drive himself to the Belarbor Street location and call police.

The suspect is described only as a black male.
