August 24, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a juvenile female that occurred at 12170 Almeda Road about 9:10 p.m. on Sunday (August 23).  

The victim, 15, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers L. Bolmanski and C. Brannen reported:  

The victim and her boyfriend were leaving a corner store at the above address when a black Dodge car drove by and an unknown suspect fired multiple shots.  The victim was struck once in the neck.  A group of males standing in front of the store during the shooting left the scene prior to police arriving.  

Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital.  At this time, it appears the victim was an innocent bystander in the incident.
