August 6, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 7745 Long Point Road about 1:25 a.m. today.  

The victim, Juan Reyes, 25, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers A. Graf and B. Godoy reported:  

Mr. Reyes drove to an apartment complex at the above address and a confrontation occurred between the persons in Reyes' vehicle and a group of persons at the complex.  At some point, there was an exchange of gunfire between the two groups and Reyes was struck several times.  Paramedics transported him to the hospital.  The suspects fled the scene.  

There are no suspect descriptions at this time.
