Investigation into Fatal Crash at 7600 Cullen Boulevard
April 21, 2020 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 7600 Cullen Boulevard about 11 p.m. on Monday (April 20).
The identities of the two male victims, both 38, are pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Uribe and Officer J. Baker reported:
The driver of a white Chevrolet Equinox was driving northbound at the above address when he struck the victims, who were walking eastbound and crossing Cullen, not in a crosswalk.
After striking the pedestrians, the driver then crashed into a light pole.
Paramedics pronounced the victims deceased at the scene. The male driver, 25, was transported to Memorial Herman Hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is continuing. No charges have been filed at this time.
