Investigation into Shooting at 7009 New York Street
April 14, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man that occurred at 7009 New York Street about 5:40 p.m. on Monday (Apr. 13).
The victim, Henry Pearson 51, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer C. Brannen reported:
Mr. Pearson was at a residence at the above address when four unknown black males arrived and asked for a man by name. Pearson stated he did not know who that man was. One of the suspects fired a shot in the air, threatened Pearson's life and then shot Pearson multiple times in his legs.
The suspects fled the scene in a green or dark-colored sport utility vehicle northbound on New York Street. Paramedics arrived and transported Pearson to the hospital.
