Investigation into Shooting at 8165 Richmond Avenue
April 1, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a juvenile male at 8165 Richmond Avenue about 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday (March 31).
The victim, 5, was transported to an area hospital where he remains in critical condition.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Meek and Detectives S. Overstreet, W. Huff and J. Nguyen reported:
The victim was shot while standing outside on the porch of a second story apartment at the above address. Paramedics transported the child to the hospital. Officers recovered multiple casings in the parking lot near where the child was shot and several cars were damaged from possible gunfire.
At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspects.
