Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 2701 North Durham Drive
October 28, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 2701 North Durham Drive about 6:40 p.m. on Saturday (October 26).
The victim, William Thomas, 36, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
HPD Homicide Division Officers K. Clark, J. Pickett and M. Nicotra reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at a music studio at the above address and found Mr. Thomas lying in the driveway with multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics transported Thomas to the hospital.
A witness overheard a verbal altercation which led to the shooting. The suspects, described only as two black males possibly in their early 30s, fled the scene in a dark-colored sedan.
