Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 12700 Foxton

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 12700 Foxton about 12:50 a.m. on Saturday (October 19).
The victim, 40 was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Miller and Detective D. Stark reported:
A Harris County Precinct 1 deputy constable observed a possibly abandoned vehicle at the above address. Upon walking up to the vehicle, the deputy observed the victim, who had been shot at least one time, sitting in the driver's seat. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
At this time, there are no known suspects.
