Investigation into Fatal Crash at 15600 West Hillcroft Avenue
March 18, 2019 - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred at 15600 West Hillcroft Avenue about 12:40 a.m. today (March 20).
The identity of the male victim, 51, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Uribe and Officer D. Henley reported:
The victim was walking eastbound in a crosswalk in the 7500 block of West Fuqua near Hillcroft when he was struck by a vehicle of unknown make or model traveling southbound on Hillcroft. The driver of the vehicle did not stop and fled the scene. Paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
