Investigation into Fatal Crash at 4100 Genoa Red Bluff Road
March 18, 2019 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man involved in a crash that occurred at 4100 Genoa Red Bluff Road about 6:05 p.m. on Thursday (March 14).
The victim, 70, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and Officer M. Mathews reported:
The victim was driving a black Lexus IS 250 sedan at the above address when he apparently suffered a medical episode. The Lexus struck the curb multiple times before leaving the roadway near 5100 Baywood Drive and entering an open field.
No other persons or vehicles were involved in this incident.
The investigation is continuing.
