Suspect Arrested, Charged in Shooting Incident at 12325 Ridgeside Drive
June 20, 2019 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in a shooting at 12325 Ridgeside Drive about 9:35 a.m. on Wednesday (June 19).
The suspect, David Quang Pham (A/m, 66), is charged with two counts of aggravated assault of a public servant in the 180th State District Court. A booking photo of Pham is attached to this news release.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Detective J. Roscoe reported:
Houston Fire Department personnel responded to a sick call at the above address and attempted to treat Pham. At some point, Pham pulled out a gun and fired a shot at the firefighters, but neither was struck.
As the firefighters attempted to wrestle the gun away from Pham, he fired another shot, but no one was struck. Pham was then detained and taken into custody by responding HPD patrol officers and subsequently charged.
