Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 116 East Edgebrook
January 14, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 116 East Edgebrook Drive about 5:25 a.m. on Sunday (January 13).
The identity of the victim, believed to be his mid-to-late 20s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives T. Tyler and B. Evans reported:
Officers responded to a person down call at the above address and found the victim lying face down on the sidewalk near apartment building #8. He was subsequently pronounced deceased by Houston Fire Department paramedics from gunshot wounds.
There is no known motive nor suspect(s) in this case.
