Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 5118 Balkin
January 14, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male that occurred at 5118 Balkin about 7:35 p.m. on Saturday (January 12).
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Fay and T. Terry reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a drive-by shooting call at the above address and found the victim deceased. Witnesses reported seeing a dark-colored sedan, possibly a Dodge Charger, leaving the scene at the time of the shooting.
There is no known suspect(s) nor motive.
