UPDATE: Suspect Charged in Fatal Stabbing at 10555 Spice Lane
January 9, 2019 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a woman that occurred at 10555 Spice Lane about 11 p.m. on August 17, 2018.
The suspect, Estanislado Alvarez-Hernandez (H/m, 26), is charged with murder in the 338th State District Court. He is accused in the death of Maria Gonzalez, 53, who died at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives M. Perez and A. Barr reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a reported assault in-progress at an apartment at the above address and found Ms. Gonzalez deceased inside her living room. A witness reported seeing Gonzalez struggling with an unknown male who fled the scene.
Further investigation identified Alvarez-Hernandez, who is in Harris County Jail on an unrelated charge, as the suspect in this case and he was subsequently charged for his role in Gonzalez's death today (Wednesday, January 9).
