Investigation into Fatal Crash at 9300 Harwin Drive
January 3, 2019 - A man critically injured in a crash that occurred at 9300 Harwin Drive about 6:50 p.m. on Tuesday (January 1) has died from his injuries.
The identity of the male victim, 20, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and Officer M. Burton reported:
A gray Honda Accord was traveling eastbound on Harwin and veered out of its lane to avoid striking another vehicle. The other vehicle, of unknown make and model, lost control while making a left hand turn. The Honda then struck a curb, spun around and struck a light pole. The driver of the Honda (victim) was transported by HFD paramedics to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in critical condition, where doctors pronounced him deceased today (January 3).
The investigation is continuing.
