Investigation into Fatal Crash at 6700 Martin Luther King Boulevard
February 25, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 6700 Martin Luther King Boulevard about 11:40 p.m. on Friday (Feb. 22).
The identity of the female victim, 38, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Benavidez and Officer F. Flynn reported:
The victim was driving a silver GMC Envoy northbound in the 6700 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard when she failed to maintain a single lane and struck two trees in the grassy median. She was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles nor persons were involved in this crash.
