Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 12600 Dunlap
February 21, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one male and the wounding of another at 12600 Dunlap about 6:40 p.m. on Wednesday (Feb. 20).
The identity of the deceased victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The second victim was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives B. Nabors and L. Lovelace reported:
Officers responded to a shooting call in a parking lot at the above address and learned that two groups of individuals got into an altercation that escalated with shots being fired. One male was pronounced dead at the scene. Paramedics transported a second victim to the hospital.
There is no known suspect information at this time.
