February 12, 2019 - Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the shooting of a man at 10280 Windmill Lakes about 1:50 p.m. on Monday (February 11).

The suspect, Antoine Leon Armstrong (b/m, 43), is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and felon in possession of a weapon in the 337th State District Court.  A photo of Armstrong is attached to this news release.

The victim, Samuel Phillips III, 26, was transported to Clear Lake Regional Hospital in critical condition.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Boyd reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address.  Upon arrival, a witness identified Armstrong as the shooter.  He was last seen driving a black Dodge Durango.
