Investigation into Shooting at 10039 Cedardale Drive
December 30, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 10039 Cedardale Drive about 4:10 p.m. last Friday (Dec. 27).
The victim, Adrian Jackson, 30, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers Z. Brumley and M. Althaus reported:
Mr. Jackson, an employee of the U.S. Postal Service, was on foot and delivering mail at the above address when he was shot by an unknown suspect who then fled the scene. Paramedics transported Jackson to the hospital.
Investigators learned of a discharge of firearms at a nearby business involved the same suspect who shot Jackson. No one was injured in the discharged of firearms where the suspect was seen pointing a gun and shooting in the direction of a man. The suspect was seen fleeing that scene in a black Honda Fit.
