Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 12803 Northborough Drive
December 30, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 12803 Northborough Drive about 12:55 a.m. on Sunday (Dec. 29).
The victim, Jose Sanchez-Ortega, 42, of the above address, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Horn and Detective J. Escobar reported:
Patrol officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the apartment complex at the above address. Officers arrived and found Sanchez-Ortega lying in the parking lot. He had been shot at least one time. HFD paramedics pronounced Sanchez-Ortega deceased.
A witness heard several gunshots and observed three Hispanic males fleeing in an older, dark-colored SUV.
