Investigation into Shooting at 2950 Sage Road
December 29, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man that occurred at 2950 Sage Road about 12:55 p.m. last Friday (December 20).
The victim, Don Bennett, 35, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers A. Barker and M. Combs reported:
Mr. Bennett and two other males were walking through a hotel parking lot at the above address when an unknown vehicle drove past and an occupant in the vehicle began shooting at the males. Bennett was struck in the leg, the two other males did not suffer any injuries. The vehicle then fled the scene. At this time, there are no known suspects or motive in the shooting.
