Investigation into Shooting Incident at 6150 West Tidwell Road
December 26 2019 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man that occurred at 6150 West Tidwell Road about 6:35 a.m. on Monday (December 23).
The victim, Anthony Shoulders, 21, sustained a gunshot wound to the neck and was transported to an area hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening wounds.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detective P. Pak reported:
A female, 23, was leaving her residence for work when she was approached by her ex-boyfriend, Mr. Shoulders. The woman stated Shoulders attempted to hold her at gunpoint from behind, but she was able to break free from his grip. She then produced her own pistol from her waistband and fire one shot, striking Shoulders. The woman stated she left the scene and then reported the incident to officers at the North Patrol Station.
No charges are filed in the case at this time, pending further investigation.
