Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 8570 Highridge Street
December 16, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male at 8570 Highridge Street about about 12 a.m. on Saturday (December 14).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants R. Olive and K. Daignault and Detectives S. Sylvester and J. Escobar reported:
The victim went with another male to a residence at the above address to visit a person who lived there. While the victim was at the residence, he was shot and died at the scene. The male who was with the victim left the scene before officers arrived.
The male is described only as possibly Middle Eastern, in his 30s, and driving a black Chevrolet Camaro with yellow-colored headlights.
