Investigation into Shooting at 8501 Broadway Street
December 16, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 8501 Broadway Street about 2:05 p.m. on Saturday (December 14).
The victim, Marquis Love, 22, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives M. Combs and A. Barker reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address and found Mr. Love had been shot. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to the hospital.
Witness stated the shooting occurred in the playground area of the apartment complex and Love ran to his grandmother's apartment.
At this time, there is no known motive nor suspect.
