Investigation into Fatal Crash at 4200 Fulton Street
December 09, 2019 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 4200 Fulton Street about 4 a.m. on Sunday (December 8).
The male victim, 46, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Benevidez and Officer J. Hill reported:
The victim was driving a red Toyota Camry at a high rate of speed northbound at the above address when a Harris County Precinct 6 deputy constable attempted to stop him. The driver refused to stop and then struck a METRO light rail pole. He died at the scene. His female passenger, 32, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
The investigation is continuing.
