Investigation into Shooting at 5900 Selinsky Road
April 19, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 5900 Selinsky Road about 4:30 p.m. on Thursday (April 18).
The victim, Rahkeen Jamal Jones, 27, of the above address, sustained non-life-threatening wounds and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer A. Le reported:
Mr. Jones was in the company of other males at an apartment complex at the above address when one of the males fired shots at him. The suspect then fled the scene. Paramedics transported Jones to the hospital in stable condition.
At this time, there is no known suspect description or motive in the incident. The suspect's vehicle is possibly a black, newer model, four-door Chevrolet Impala.
