Investigation into Man Found Deceased at 5600 Hershe Street
April 18, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the apparent fatal stabbing of a man found at 5600 Hershe Street about 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday (April 17).
The identity of the victim, believed to be 40 to 50 years of age, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Barr and M. Perez reported:
Officers were dispatched to a person down call at the above address and located a man lying face down in a ditch. It appeared the man had sustained multiple stab wounds to his back and torso.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the manner and cause of death.
