Investigation into Shooting at 5900 Selinsky Drive

April 11, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a juvenile male that occurred at 5900 Selinsky Drive about 5 p.m. on Wednesday (April 10).

The victim, 15, suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the arm.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer L. Bolmanski reported:

An unknown suspect(s) fired several shots at unknown individuals, without striking them, in the parking lot of an apartment complex at the above address.  However, several vehicles in parking lot were struck.  The suspect(s) then fled in a black sedan westbound on Selinsky Drve.

Multiple shell casings were found two blocks away in the 5700 block of Selinsky Drive, indicating the suspect(s) had again fired the weapon.  One of the rounds apparently traveled east over the apartment complex and struck the victim while he was at a school some distance away.  He was taken by private vehicle to Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital to be treated.
