Investigation into Fatal Crash at 4000 Rosslyn
April 8, 2019 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 4000 Rosslyn about 7:45 p.m. on Saturday (April 6).
The female victim, 22, victim was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where she was pronounced deceased. Her identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rose and Officer F. Flynn reported:
The victim was driving a white Honda Accord southbound at the above address when she was struck by a black Chevrolet Tahoe, whose driver failed yield the right of way at a stop signed while turning left from Chantilly Lane. After being struck, the Accord left the roadway and struck a fence and tree.
Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital. The driver of the Tahoe remained at the scene and there are currently no charges in this incident as the investigation is continuing.
