Investigation into Woman Found Deceased Following Fire at 400 York Street
April 1, 2019 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found at 400 York Street about 8:10 p.m. last Friday (March 29).
The identity of the victim, 43, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Officers M. Arrington and L. Patterson reported:
Officers were dispatched to a fire in a townhome at the above address and learned a woman was found deceased on the floor of the residence after the fire was extinguished.
An autopsy will determine the manner and cause of the woman's death. The investigation is continuing.
