Investigation into Fatal Crash at 4300 West Tidwell Road
April 1, 2019 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 4300 West Tidwell Road about 2 p.m. on Saturday (March 30).
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G. Lopez and Officer E. Morgado reported:
The victim was operating a black Harley Davidson motorcycle and traveling eastbound at the above address when he struck a gray Toyota Camry whose driver failed to yield the right of way leaving a stop sign on Bertellis Street.
Paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist deceased at the scene. The Camry's female driver, 17, and a passenger were transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Camry was questioned and did not show signs of intoxication. The investigation is continuing.
