Investigation into Shooting at 17539 Imperial Valley
September 12, 2018 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man that occurred at 17539 Imperial Valley about 7:40 p.m. on Friday (September 7).
The victim, Carlos Burnett, 45, was transported to Houston Northwest Hospital in critical condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives K. Clark and J. Pickett reported:
Mr. Burnett was inside a liquor store at the above address when an unknown male suspect entered the business and, for unknown reasons, began firing. Burnett was struck multiple times and transported by paramedics to the hospital. The suspect fled on foot toward Greens Road.
The suspect is described only as a black male, between 30 to 40 years old, with a thin build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a gray hoodie, dark pants and white shoes.
