Investigation into Fatal Crash at 2300 Barker Cypress Road
October 1, 2018 - Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 2300 Barker Cypress Road about 2:40 a.m. on Saturday (Sept. 29).
The victim, Leonardo Alonzo Ramirez, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Gonzales and Officer M. Nicotra reported:
Mr. Ramirez was operating a burgundy Suzuki motorcycle northbound in the 2300 block of Barker Cypress Road when he failed to maintain a single lane. He then lost control of the motorcycle and struck the pavement. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Ramirez deceased. No other vehicles or persons were involved in this crash.
The investigation is continuing.
