Investigation into Fatal Crash at 8600 Brandon

Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 8600 Brandon at 5:35 p.m. on November 14.
The identity of the male victim, 76, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Arnold and Officer M. Juarez reported:
The driver of a maroon Lincoln Town Car was traveling northbound on Brandon street when she approached the intersection at Bellfort , failed to yield the right of way, and was struck by a black Chevrolet C1500 pickup truck struck. The victim, a passenger in the Lincoln, was transported to St. Joseph Medical Center and then transferred to Memorial Hermann Hospital. On Tuesday (November 27), he was pronounced deceased.
There are no charges in this incident, as the investigation is continuing.
