November 26, 2018 - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred at 7100 Gulf Freeway about 9:05 p.m. on Friday (November 23).

The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rodriguez and Officer K. Hines reported:

The victim was crossing the northbound lanes of the freeway on foot when he was struck by an unknown vehicle.  The unidentified driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
