November 13, 2018 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one male and the wounding of another that occurred at 6700 West 43rd Street about 7:10 p.m. on Monday (November 12).

The identity of the deceased male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Officers A. Lopez and J. Flores reported:

Officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and lying in the street.  He was transported to Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.  It is believed he exchanged gunfire with several unknown persons.  A second male was shot and transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
